Meet our Staff

Our staff members are handpicked by our administrative team and have undergone a careful background check, taken multiple certified training courses and have an early childhood education certificate. Each lead teacher provides lesson plans that include all areas of our learning program, encourage loving and accepting peer relationships among the children, and enhance their learning in a motivating and enriching environment.

Center Director

Hi! I am the Children's Ministry Director for Crossroads Church. That means I am the director of the daycare and the middle and high school youth groups.  I have worked with children in the childcare field, the Johnson Creek school district, and youth groups since 2000.

I am married with 3 children who keep me busy with various activities, especially sports. We also have 2 dogs and 3 cats. My favorite things to do are read, ride our motorcycle with my husband, host parties so I can try new recipes, and play games so I can act like a kid.

My favorite part of my job is visiting classrooms to play with the kids or hear about their day. My goals include mentoring a new generation of teachers, providing unique care to the families in our community, and sharing Jesus with them all. I love God and know I was called by Him to love the kids in our community; so that is what I try to do every day, from cradle to college.

Lead Pastor

Hi Ho, I'm Pastor Joe (Joepaaa)! I came to this church in 2010 and began serving as the Youth Pastor. June 2018, I took the Lead Pastor position and am still leading our elementary school youth group, One Way. I have a beautiful wife, daughter, and son. We also have various pets like dogs, parakeets, and chickens. I love the Cubs and Bears and still love my wife even though she is a Brewers and Packers fan…

Hey there! I’ve been a member of the Crossroads Church since 2020 and love being involved here! I also help lead our Women's Bible Study Group. I am a wife and mother of two boys and three dogs. I love reading, the outdoors, family time, volunteering, and taking road trips. I am lactose intolerant, but love trying and cooking new foods! Lead Infant Teacher & Team Support Lead

Hello! I have a bachelor's degree in early childhood education and have worked in childcare since 2006, with the last 3 years running my own in-home center. I have 5 children, two girls and three boys. I had a dream of being in the childcare business since my little sister was born when I was 6 years old! I love being in the childcare business because not only am I helping to teach your children but I am also learning new things from them every day! I can't wait to watch them grow and prosper into little adults. I love taking my family out on hikes, playing sports, jumping on the trampoline, or going camping :) We really enjoy being outside, especially during the warmer months!

Co-Lead Infant Teacher

My name is Amber, and I am the co-lead infant teacher for your child. I have been working in the infant room for the past 5 months now. I have always wanted to work with children just never knew how or what I needed to accomplish to do so. I have a 6-year-old son who is my whole world. If I'm not at work, then I'm at home spending time with my son and fiancé. We love to watch our son play sports, and we also enjoy hunting together. The children in my class will always be treated equally and I would treat them just like they are my own.

Substitute Teacher

Hi, I'm Miss Hailey! I graduated from Jefferson High School in 2021. I started with CKC July 2022 through an outside training program. I officially joined the team in October 2022 and have been able to work in every classroom. I love working with kids of all ages and am excited to be with the ones! I enjoy playing with kids and teaching them new things.

Some of my favorite things are chocolate and tacos from Panchos in Jefferson! My favorite colors are purple and black. I am a Harry Potter fan, love to read, and spend time with friends.

Lead Ones Teacher

Hello! I am Miss Cynthia! My son and I live in Jefferson. I had the privilege of being a stay-at-home mom until my son started school. I've also worked at Starbucks and therefore love coffee.

I like going to the zoo and spending time outside in the summer. I do not like the cold. My favorite color is purple. I'm a foodie, but I hate vegetables.

Lead Twos Teacher

Hello! I have been teaching since 2023. I have taught children 18-month-olds to 2 years old, but I prefer two-year-olds. I enjoy teaching kids to count and have them learn through hands-on experiences. I am a little shy at first, however, once I get to know you, I will open up more. I love everything space and outdoors as well as going to Jefferson Speedway. I can’t wait to watch your children grow and learn right in front of our eyes. I look forward to learning more about the children, their routine, and the parents of the children I care for.

Three fun facts about me:

  1. I have a cat at home.

  1. My favorite animal is the squirrel.

  1. I find joy in teaching because it allows me to witness and support children as they achieve significant milestones in their lives, such as mastering potty training.

Teacher in Training

Hello!! I graduated in 2001, and I love to teach, and I love children. I love the Lord above all else, and my faith in Him is most important to me. Life truly is a gift, and I enjoy it now more than I ever have. I can honestly say that I'm grateful for all the good, as well as the bad, because it helped to make me who I am today. I love to grow and learn, because there is always something to learn and work towards to be a better person. Reading and writing are also two of my most favorite things to do.

Assistant Ones Teacher

Hello! I grew up in little ol’ Jefferson born and raised! I have a son, Dex, who is such a smart, loving, almost birthday twin, outdoors little boy! I was a CNA for 8 years before I decided it was time to take my love of caring and always learning to a younger generation. I couldn’t be more excited about this decision!  Outside of work I am a homebody. I love relaxing, playing games on my switch, watching movies, and cross stitching!
